Certifications, Licences and Quality Standards
Every shipment from our two Karnal plants carries independently audited food-safety certification and the government licences importers need at customs. Copies of every certificate are shared with buyers on request.
Food-Safety Certifications
Independent bodies audit our plants against international food-safety standards.

ISO 22000:2018
The international standard for managing food-safety hazards across the whole chain, from paddy procurement to dispatch. It combines HACCP principles with documented management controls and yearly surveillance audits.

BRCGS Food Safety
The Global Standard for Food Safety required by most UK and European retailers. It covers site hygiene, product safety, traceability and food-safety culture, and every certificate carries an audit grade.

HACCP
A Codex Alimentarius system that identifies the points in processing where biological, chemical or physical hazards could enter, and controls each one. For rice these include stone and metal removal, moisture and fumigation residue.

GMP
Certification that our facilities, equipment, staff hygiene and cleaning schedules meet good-manufacturing standards.

Halal
Confirms that our products, ingredients and processing meet Islamic dietary requirements and are kept free from cross-contamination.
Licences and Registrations
Government authorisations to manufacture food in India and export it abroad.

FSSAI Licence
The licence required by Indian law to manufacture, process and store food. It is issued under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006.

US FDA Registration
Our facility is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, which is required for any facility whose food is shipped to the United States. We renew the registration every two years, as the law requires.
The FDA registers food facilities but does not certify or approve them.

APEDA Registration
The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority, under India's Ministry of Commerce, registers exporters of scheduled products. Basmati exports require this registration.
Government Recognition and Memberships
Status earned through export performance, and the trade bodies we belong to.
3 Star Export House
A status the Government of India grants to exporters who reach set export-performance thresholds under the Foreign Trade Policy.

FIEO
The apex body for Indian exporters, set up by the Ministry of Commerce.

AIREA
The national association of rice exporters. It represents the industry to the government on quality standards, minimum export prices and market access.
