Cereals, leather and its products, petroleum products, gems and jewelry, automobiles and equipment, pharmaceutical products, and handloom, and cotton yarns are top most products export from India. USA, China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hong Kong, Bangladesh, Singapore, United Kingdom, Germany, Nepal and Netherlands are India’s top export partners. Exports agricultural and processed products promoted by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) increased 18 percent to $10 billion between april 2021 and September 2021. Rice (basmati and non-basmati) exports increased by 12 percent. The government is trying to improve agriculture production sectors to become the leading exporters of cereal globally. India is the second-largest cotton-producing country producing more than 23% of the global cotton demand.
